The opening track of Charanjit Singh's 1982 album Synthesizing: Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat, recorded in Bombay. It plays Indian raga forms on a Roland Jupiter-8, TB-303 and TR-808 over a disco beat.
HN points to it as an early acid-style record that came before Chicago acid house, and as a way into ragas for electronic music fans.

If you like electronic music and are interested in exploring the raga form, would recommend checking Charanjit Singh's 1982 album "Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat" ( [VIDEO] )
Although weirdly preempted by an Indian record 'Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat' in 1982: [VIDEO] This is what "the TB-303 bass synthesizer uses [the artist] to reproduce itself" means - you really couldn't use these tools without producing this music.
