Since the pipe organ will be inevitably mentioned in the comments, I'm gonna plug the Youtube channel ‘Look Mum No Computer’, whose gear-crazy author in now apparently in the final stages of installing and patching up an organ in his seemingly interminable basement, after moving it from someone else's house: [LINK] Said organ was built by its late owner not just in the house, but pretty much into the walls of the house, and as a result the thing had to be ripped out of there rather grotesquely, and then rewired again at the new place: [VIDEO]
If you want to learn more about pipe organs from a completely different viewpoint, this series where a pipe organ is gradually rebuilt by an extremely talented and enthusiastic amateur is great fun! LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER - I BOUGHT A WHOLE CHURCH ORGAN - Part 1: The Organ Removal [VIDEO]
LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER has a great set of video about removing an organ from a home, and setting it up/modifying it in his place. I highly recommend. [VIDEO]
"Look mum no computer" on Youtube is wrapping up a series[0] where he bought an old church organ and rebuilt it. He cleaned it up and rewired it to interface via midi as well as the console. [0] [VIDEO]
