A Fox News segment in which Ami Horowitz interviews people at UC Berkeley and in Harlem about whether voter ID laws are racist.
Cited in voting-related threads as a favorite example of street interviews on voter ID, though it is a partisan satirical piece.

Easily gamed without strong (physical presense) voter ID requirements. EDIT: Mail in voting is skimmed with little to no risk. Oops, lost 1% of that zip code... [VIDEO]
Assuming that people can't get IDs based on their demographic is also a form of discrimination. Weak ID requirements disenfranchise voters of all backgrounds by enabling the possibility of diluting their votes with fraudulent registrations and ballots. Los Angeles County had more registered voters than they have age 18+ citizens and recently were forced by lawsuit to purge 5 million invalid registrations from their rolls. [VIDEO] [LINK]
Well at the and of the day you still have to make a choice who deserves what. Since you don't want meritocracy and argue for a compassionate ideological framework you still haven't provided how people are ranked in your system. How does a Russian immigrant Igor who is white, has a bad accent, hardly speaks the language compares to Karim, a successful black business man? All I see is a group of white people arguing with an another group of white people for power and one is using minorities just so that it can call the other white group racist. No where have i seen minorities ranking themselves in the historical injustice ladder. You don't even realize how patronizing you are. [VIDEO]
How are voters being suppressed? That link was... lacking in detail. Yes it says voters rights are suppressed, but doesn't actually explain why or how. Do you even know? Because I've heard this racist story before. [VIDEO]
My favorite video on this topic: [VIDEO] They first go to Berkeley, California and ask a bunch of white people their thoughts on voter idea laws. "They're racist, african americans don't know where the DMV is, don't have access to the Internet" type of answers. Then they go to Harlem and ask people's thoughts on it.
Your comment reminds me of the video where they ask white people in Berkeley, CA if voter id laws are racist. They say yes of course they’re racist because African Americans don’t have id as often, don’t have as much access to the internet, don’t know where the DMV is, etc. Then they go to Harlem to ask people what they think of those comments. [VIDEO] As for your claims themselves, In 3 months I studied 350 hours to pass the hardest test in finance while I was married, had three young children and worked full time. Nobody has time to do the things required to advance your career. You have to make the time. For years, I also recruited and mentored students from an inner city bootcamp near me where the students spend 80-90 hours per week for 12 weeks learning software engineering. The vast majority of students are minority and there is fierce competition to hire graduates by local companies.
> At least some of them is about proxy and postal voting. That has no relation to IDs. Firstly, that’s not true. As quoted above: > The vast majority of convictions have involved postal or proxy ballots, often in conjunction with attempts to manipulate the electoral registers by registering bogus electors or adding electors to the register at empty properties. That requires processes that are slack about identity . The requirement to prove/provide identity at certain points in the process would render these problems moot. If you wish to focus solely on in-person voting then say so, but that’s not the same as there being no relationship. Secondly, as with any conspiracy theory, you would have to: - show me how you knew their intentions without recourse to mind reading And with restpect to this particular case: - show how needing ID would reduce (legitimate) votes cast (I hope it’s not something like this[1]) - explain why increased security is a bad thing (taking into account the ease and low cost of this solution) It would be just as easy to claim that those who are against such measures wish to benefit from the fraud. That wouldn’t be possible without mind reading and I lack that ability. However, it does correlate , those against better election finance protections tend to benefit from them (Conservatives and Labour). Those against better proxy vote, postal vote and in-person voting fraud tend to benefit from it (Labour). In either case I don’t care, to improve the legitima
"Black people can't get IDs" is a racist trope promoted by the Democrats, famously exposed as ridiculous in this "on the street" video: [VIDEO]
