A short clip from the NBC sitcom Community in which a character delivers a monologue about how LEGO changed over the years. It is the source of a widely quoted passage about the toy.
HN commenters link it as the origin of a LEGO quote and as a delightful monologue about how the toy has changed.

Wow - a lot or work went into that article. Very impressive! On a vaguely related note, here's the video that the quote at the top is taken from: [VIDEO]
"What happened with Legos, they used to be simple. Oh come on, I know you know what I'm talking about, Legos were simple. Something happened out here while I was inside. Harry Potter Legos, Star Wars Legos, complicated kits, tiny little blocks. I mean I'm not saying its bad I just wanna know what happened." [VIDEO]
This ad was the subject of a debate a few years back about what's happened to LEGO in general - it's large scale shift to licensed properties, and specifically the introduction of specific girl-targeted LEGO sets. This seems like the best article I could find on it: [LINK] Also, there is this really great monologue on LEGO from Community, delivered by Michael K. Williams that is delightful: [VIDEO]
