Official trailer for the documentary Into Eternity, about Finland's Onkalo repository, built to store high-level nuclear waste safely for 100,000 years. It raises how to warn and communicate with far-future humans.
Recommended as a thought-provoking film on deep-time nuclear waste storage, though one commenter found it unenlightening.

Sounds like the Onkalo nuclear waste repository in Finland. There's a documentary about it where they talk a bit about the difficulties of marking the site in a way that won't just pique someone's curiosity after it's been forgotten. [VIDEO] Unfortunately it's not a very good, or enlightening, documentary. Has its moments though.
This one in from 2003 , but I watched it this year: Memories of a Murder [LINK] . It's about the first recorded serial killer from Korea. There is also 2 amazing documentary: Into Eternity [VIDEO] and Nostalgia for the Light [LINK]
Finland is building nuclear waste storage facility which is planned to last for 100.000 years. There are quite few interesting design decisions to be made taking this lifespan in to account, for example if current civilization will be wiped out, what symbols you should put on a door to discourage someone in future to opening the door. Came here to post this same comment. It’s a really thought-provoking film and quite striking in the way it was shot, edited, and scored. Highly recommended. [LINK] [VIDEO]
