A short clip of Louis CK on Conan riffing that everything is amazing and nobody is happy, about complaining over modern wonders like air travel and wifi. The uploader added a note about the comedian's later misconduct.

HN commenters bring it up as a reminder to appreciate technology instead of complaining, from Waymo to AI art to flight delays.

This. I sometimes turned to my girlfriend while taking off in a plane (back in 2019 :P) and tell her: "OMFG! We realise humanities dream of flying!" More examples from the comedian Louis CK: [VIDEO]

I know the community is generally very negative/skeptic on this (at least based on the 21 comments so far below), but this is an amazing technical & business accomplishment. Congratulations! The blog post is relatively clear that ramp up will take a few weeks - "we’ll start with those who are already a part of Waymo One and, over the next several weeks, welcome more people directly into the service through our app" before you comment watch: [VIDEO]

Louis CK bit on Conan about people complaining about flying. Certainly relatable reading some passenger complaints regarding this Southwest debacle. [VIDEO]

Similar thought here. I don't know if it was the era or being relatively poor, but the big change in my life was giftgiving. You used to get a book or sweater or doodad and be wowed and thankful. As an adult it seems everyone has Amazon and everything they want, so what's to do but trade boring gift cards we don't need. How exciting. I will say one thing I noticed and dislike about myself is how impatient and 'privileged' I've become. I mean, we used to order from Sears or Penney's catalogues as a kid and that stuff took weeks to arrive, and we were thrilled. Today it's all instant gratification. Amazon is a day late and we(I) act perturbed. I like to watch this Louis CK clip, it really puts me back in place...for a while. [VIDEO]

I’m reminded of Louis CK’s rant “ Everything Is Amazing and Nobody Is Happy”: [VIDEO] Like, nothing like this was remotely possible a year ago. I’m sure we’ll hit a wall at some point, but you certainly shouldn’t dismiss things as not possible because they’re not currently possible.

OK, so you have the unbearable pain of using a separate terminal app to use the magic thingie that does your programming for you on prompt, and which didn't exist merely 2 years ago. [VIDEO]
