Yup, it's more biomechanically natural. There's a footstool product that makes Western toilets more comfortable, giving you the best of both worlds: [LINK] Here's an amusing explainer video: [VIDEO]

If you don’t know the video, enjoy it here: [VIDEO] It’s hilarious. Great, great marketing. On a more serious note, my experience is that any other small chair will do the same trick.

I'm surprised that companies don't create packaging materials that are actually also ads and have them be stuffed in all the packages that say Amazon sends. I'm resentful of advertising in general, so the comment above is a morbid expression of "how low can they go". There are some kinds of ads that I do like for their entertainment value e.g. the Squatty Potty ads by the Harmon Brothers or the Apple Cookie Monster ad [0][1][2]. [0] [VIDEO] [1] [LINK] [2] [LINK]

For those wondering what "Squatty Potty" is, the company that makes it has a video that explains it well, featuring a pooping unicorn: [VIDEO]

Squatting may also be beneficial in other contexts, as explained in the seminal ‘kink/unkink’ video: [VIDEO]

Ahh, you mean the original Squatty Potty ads: [VIDEO] It's definitely bizarre. I assume they were going for memorable, but your report sounds like it failed at the basic goal: remembering the product.
