An animated short on limits to growth, covering oil formation, peak oil, energy, economic growth and resource depletion. Its central section deals with exponential growth, and the author notes some statistics are dated.

Not using it to prepare for the post-oil world is way way worse. I don't think current social - no it's not just political - structures allow for hitting the brake pedal before it is too late. [VIDEO]

You realize, once Petroleum runs out this century, humanity is completely screwed right ? Forget transportation/energy, our economy is chemically hooked on to it like a coke-addict. [VIDEO] If the transition doesn't happen, we're looking at it dropping to 1-5% of its size now. I hope we do this before we take out the rest of the earth with our cancerous global-scale genocide of everything - animals, plants, cultures, 'different' humans, languages and cultures.

All the green/peak-oil stuff is coming to a head with the Iran war. (See for eg. [VIDEO] ) All thanks to our Epstein-class-alien-AI-zionist-lizard overlords.

This is way more serious than Covid - there it was a demand-shock. This is a supply shock - one with no alternatives. For people who aren't aware of just how much we depend on petrochemicals, see this video on the perils of peak-oil. [VIDEO] Peak-oil may have proved "false" (not quite - only that Hubbert didn't expect a bimodal distribution), but this is a good time to come out of our illusions, not only about the "unlimited"-ness of oil, but also about creating societies that are so toxically dependent on oil.
