A short clip of Joe Biden speaking about leveraging loan guarantees to get Ukraine's prosecutor general fired, with a partisan description framing it as corruption.

Used almost entirely as a critical, politically charged citation in unrelated threads, not as something recommended.

Litmus test time: does this look like degenerate behavior to you? This is a presidential frontrunner and (at the time) an acting VP. He got his cokehead son $1.5B in Chinese money, too, for his "investment" firm, how that continues to escape the front page of WaPo and NYT is beyond me. [VIDEO] Or are your morals selective enough to remain blind to this? Because it seems that the mainstream press is trying their hardest to not cover the story, and if it wasn't for Trump's "whistleblowing" (which I believe he orchestrated himself), nobody would know.

Here’s the video of Joe saying exactly that: [VIDEO] Here’s one example from today; > Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin [the fired Ukrainian Prosecutor] testified that when he was fired in March 2016, he was told the reason was that Biden was unhappy about the Burisma investigation. [1] > “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors,” Shokin testified... Here's the video footage of Biden admitting it: [VIDEO] The prosecutor was investigating Biden's son.

>> Joe Biden or the Ukrainian AG have ever been in possession of 1 Billion Nobody claims that they were. But Biden not only did get the Ukrainian AG fired in the span of 6 hours under the threat of withholding $1B (which, BTW, ended any further investigation into Burisma, how convenient), he had the gall to brag about it on stage: [VIDEO] . It's also a fact that his son had no experience in oil, gas or Ukraine, and only sat on that board because of his last name (something he _himself_ admitted in an interview which you can also easily find). I mean, if this is the kind of stuff you're pissed at Zuck for not censoring, then I'm sorry, you're supporting blatant, third-world style government corruption. I didn't read the rest of your message.

> Joe Biden or the Ukrainian AG have ever been in possession of 1 Billion >Nobody claims that they were Your quote from the article. >"Right now, on your website, is an ad claiming that Joe Biden gave the Ukrainian attorney general a billion dollars not to investigate his son." So, am I to understand that Joe Biden gave the Ukrainian attorney general a billion dollars despite Joe Biden not having a billion dollars and the Ukrainian attorney general never having had a billion dollars. > he had the gall to brag about it on stage: [VIDEO] . You post an editted clip out of context, about the level of honesty of Nancy Pelosi's speech being slowed down to make her sound drunk. In return I'll give you a link to a trusted fact checking site showing the full clip and a debunking of your claim. > [LINK] That's because your claim is a lie. > It's also a fact that his son had no experience in oil, gas or Ukraine, and only sat on that board because of his last name (something he _himself_ admitted in an interview which you can also easily find) What does this have to do with the specific lie we're talking about? Let's be clear about this: If you think there's a scandal about Hunter Biden being appointed to a company you were welcome to make that argument before you came out with a conspiracy theory about Joe Biden, but now you've started on crazy lies about Joe Biden's time as VP you've lost the credibility to talk about this. >I didn't read the rest of your message. Hunter was getting $50k a month from a Ukraine gas company. [0] There’s definitely a conflict of interest with the administration. Also Biden bragging about getting a prosecutor fired and threatening to withhold aid. [1] [VIDEO] [0] [LINK]

First off, I assume you're talking about the phone call that the Democrats impeached him for (leading to acquittal) to cover for the Burisma scandal. Accuse your enemy of what you're doing I suppose: [VIDEO] Second, that aid was never held up and is separate from the Javelins that were sent anyway. What other President sent Ukraine weapons (not blankets) before this fiasco?

If that illegal activity was connected to the person in public office, absolutely. The actions around the US forcing the firing of a prosecutor going after a company with whom Hunter has signifiant financial interests — that’s a pretty big deal. [VIDEO]

> It’s definitely unsavory, but absolutely nothing compared to the conflicts of interest under Trump, ironically even in Ukraine. Remember the withheld US money used to blackmail for political dirt? Trump was asking the Ukrainian President to investigate whether Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire their top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, because he was actively investigating Hunter Biden's involvement in Burisma. Here's Joe Biden bragging about getting the prosecutor fired. Ironically in this video Biden openly admits to threatening to withhold aid if the prosecutor isn't fired. [0] [0]: [VIDEO]

We can't prosecute the Biden family because they all got pre-emptive pardons. [LINK] Did Trump actually withhold foreign aid from Ukraine, or did he threaten to do so? [VIDEO] Because if it was threatening to cut funding this is a pot calling the kettle black situation [LINK] And checking this NYTimes timeline, they say that the funds were released on September 20th. So the funding to Ukraine was not withheld, but delayed. The exact same thing that Joe Biden was doing. Saying in all caps "It's a great time to buy" before the stock market goes up 10% isn't insider trading, it's a politician delivering on his promises immediately.
