A travel vlogger asks the leader of the Hadza hunter-gatherers in Tanzania some big life questions just before a baboon hunt. The short answers touch on meat, honey and what matters in life.
HN cites it as a glimpse of present-day hunter-gatherer life, for example on diet and teeth, though one commenter calls it flippant and sensationalist.

I recall a rather flippant and sensationalist video with a YouTuber interviewing some present day hunter gatherers on more philosophical matters. [VIDEO] "Asking Hunter-Gatherers Life's Toughest Questions" I got the impression there was some language barrier stuff going on, but the answer to many questions was... "meat"
That is very uninformed feel-good-projecting-ones-bias-into-reinterpreting-solid-evidence-of-history. First, any anthropology book will dispel such notion, and or watch youtube videos featuring few days living as a hunter-gatherer, such as this one: [VIDEO] or more here [LINK] If one is to learn from evidence rather than to confirm once cherished biases it would take no time to read even so distant history narratives to wake up from this anti-meat re-interpretation of our ancestor's life-styles. To what degree and how meat should be collected today is a separate issue ... but do not let political correctness of today let us bias the solid evidence of our how our ancestors lived. Meat has been and still is in many areas of planet the highest value (wealth, prosperity, health -wise). And whether the question in the title is worth answering as posed is yet another issue. I think Tim Minchin's song "the fence" would fit well as an audio epilogue to this post.
They seem to have good teeth: [VIDEO] They wear jeans, though. So they might be accessing nearby cities and the Youtuber avoided to mention that for clicks.
I recently watched a video where someone visits the Hadza, a Tanzanian hunter-gatherer people, and asks them about life and goes on a hunt with them. They say the important things in life are to have meat from hunting and to have honey from the bees, and that’s it. Meat and honey is the meaning of life.
