A short Cracked video arguing, tongue in cheek, that the world of the film Idiocracy would actually be a utopia. It plays with the movie's premise and today's politics.
Cited in passing to support the half-serious argument that Idiocracy's world is a utopia.

A better explanation, that highlights how it isn't just "stupidity", but the combination of stupidity and ambition . [VIDEO]
The world of Idiocracy is a utopia. They're not only willing but eager to appoint the smartest man in the world to high office. President Camacho steps aside as soon as he realises that there is someone better qualified to be president. The movie shows a world that is deeply dysfunctional, but also devoid of any signs of bigotry, hatred or totalitarianism. There are no death camps, no migrations of starving people, no persecuted minority being scapegoated for the food crisis. We should envy those happy idiots. [VIDEO]
I would trade President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho for Trump any day. At least Mr Dwayne tried to appoint the smartest people available (the protagonist). There is even a argument that Idiocracy is a utopia. [VIDEO]
