Patricia Aas's EuroBSDCon keynote is about ethics for people who build software, covering how the tech industry got to its current state and what engineers can do about it. It steps back from technical detail to the bigger picture.
HN commenters strongly recommend it as a thoughtful talk on tech worker ethics that has not aged.

For engineers reading this who work at a tech company, or well, any company. Watch this keynote talk by Patricia Aas. It's called Embedded Ethics. And it is crystal clear many of you need to watch it. [VIDEO]
On another topic, someone recently posted this youtube video of a Norwegian engineer explaining her views on tech worker ethics, how we've got here and maybe a way to fix it or atleast improve on the current situation. I'd recommend showing it to your commute buddies. It really resonated with my thoughts, how I've viewed the tech world and my (tiny) part in it. [VIDEO]
EuroBSDcon 2019 Keynote by Patricia Aas: Embedded Ethics ( [VIDEO] / slides: [LINK] ) Because, sometimes you need to worry less about the gritty details of the tech and take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
I watched this in 2020 even though it's from EuroBSDCon 2019. I'm talking about Patricia Aas keynote "Embedded Ethics": [VIDEO] Hasn't aged one bit. If anything Patricia is spot on pretty much everything. If you don't have time to spend on this, you may want to take a look at the slides: [LINK]
