Raw footage of nerdcore rapper Monzy performing outside Stanford's computer science building, shot for the documentary Nerdcore for Life. The set includes his song about the kill -9 Unix command.
Mostly referenced for jokes and for the kill -9 song, which one commenter said taught them about signals.

I remember learning about kill as a kid, then kill -9 in college, and after college re-learning it via Monzy[1]. I had sort of forgotten the importance of the signal argument. Such an incredibly powerful command that is nothing more than a representation of a very simple decision or architecture [2]: Some of the more commonly used signals: 1 HUP (hang up) 2 INT (interrupt) 3 QUIT (quit) 6 ABRT (abort) 9 KILL (non-catchable, non-ignorable kill) 14 ALRM (alarm clock) 15 TERM (software termination signal) [1] - [VIDEO] [2] - man kill
To be fair nerdcore doesn't attract chorus lines: [VIDEO] Closest I can get to HN ⋂ dancing is 1:34-1:48 in Virus' "You should ask" (where the video is about the difficulty of source attribution on a LAN, let alone an entire internet) [LINK]
I agree, but [LINK] is about at least seven dozen people from three of the five eyes on one side, and someone who was infamous for "hacking" Tony Blair and Uscentcom on the other, yet nothing in any of the articles suggests anything much more technical than social engineering[1]. (Indeed, the story as written does have Hollywood MacGuffin floppy disk written all over it, in that I'd find it implausible that, even in a war zone, no one kept anything on-prem, or at least backups? At least performing a "kill -9" via Hellfire missile does upstage Stanford gangstas [VIDEO] .) [1] Compare [LINK] and remember that the case of TFA starts in 1974 with social engineering via "Nadia." I'm pretty sure the Arthashastra mentions social engineering via thirst trap, and [LINK] has a similar story. Then there's [LINK] 's account of deradicalisation via honey trap. Q. This is not exactly a joke, but these seem relatively on topic as humor: Monzy - Kill Dash Nine [VIDEO] Googlers - Write in go [LINK]
