When I was that age it was exactly the same with Flash games. I'm reminded of the "I used be with it" joke from The Simpsons: [VIDEO]

This just sounds like the complaining of every older person since the dawn of time. [LINK] Such complaining disregards the fact that most humans are strongly driven to procreate, and thus present themselves as fit mates with jobs, status, income, and prestige. Humans are also driven to create, and will create beautiful art in the medium that best presents that art. We are also driven to explore, love, and experience life. These things are all alive and well in people who otherwise have and use a mobile phone daily. The empty mental calories of yesteryear were: gossip, tavern attendance, radio, fighting, plays, etc. Those weren't any "better" than mobile phones are today. Assuming that civilization is going to collapse because the empty mental calories are a little more accessible is a tad extreme. Finally, a relevant Simpson's: [VIDEO]

> If I run a big data hungry AI lab consuming training data at 100Gb/s it's much much easier to scrape 10,000 sites at 10Mb/s than DDOS a smaller number of sites with more traffic A little over a decade ago (f*ck I'm old now [0]), I had a similar conversation with an ML Researcher@Nvidia. Their response was "even if we are overtraining, it's a good problem to have because we can reduce our false negative rate". Everyone continues to have an incentive to optimize for TP and FP at the expense of FN. [0] - [VIDEO]
