> When the company claims its single-celled protein is “free from agricultural limitations,” They are growing some bacteria or unicelular eukaryote in a tank. There is no groundbreaking chemistry process here. Cody did something similar in [VIDEO] Also, from [LINK] > we milk water from the air for the microorganisms to live in and feed them tiny bubbles of CO2, as well as nutrients like nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus and potassium, Milking water from the air is silly, it needs a lot of energy. Just use a normal source of water. This reduce the credibility of the project. Nitrogen is tricky, perhaps they are using a bacteria that can fixate nitrogen, that would reduce the yield, or they are using nitrate or other common fertilizer with nitrogen. calcium, phosphorus and potassium: Quite common fertilizers. not surprising.

Cody'sLab has a few videos about growing his own algae for consumption which are pretty interesting: [VIDEO] Personally, I'm not opposed to this kind of food but integrating it into your existing diet can be challenging.
Cody has an example of how to generate oil out of algae and sun light: [VIDEO] Very interesting stuff! As others already noted, this is probably a more efficient and more robust technology.
