A short promotional video demonstrating a head-thumping technique that is claimed to relieve tinnitus. Covering the ears and tapping the back of the head is said to silence the ringing temporarily.

Tinnitus sufferers share it as a free trick that briefly stops the ringing, though not as a cure.

There's a technique that has the potential to temporarily (around 1 minute) clear tinnitus. [VIDEO] It's not much and doesn't seem to work for everyone, but if you've been suffering from tinnitus for years, one minute is better than nothing.

I've always had tinnitus since I was a child and just thought the world was like that. A trick popped up on Reddit to temporarily, and perhaps for some with regular application, cures it for a short time. [VIDEO] Thump the back of your head like that with your ears covered well about 40 times and enjoy the silence.

I had tinnitus for a while, and tried a few things that didn't work but this thomping technique I found on reddit one day stops it, and I just do it every couple of days and it disappears for a while. Not permanent but whenever it bothers me now I just do this thumping and it disappears in a few seconds: [VIDEO]
